Experience NZ Travel Insurance
We aim to provide competitive Experience NZ Travel Insurance premiums, while delivering increased service and protection. Our premium table below is valid as of 1 January 2025 and is subject to change. Your individual premium amount will be advised upon acceptance of cover.
The prices quoted here are in NZ Dollars and for individuals are for people aged 18 to 60. Family rates are for up to two adults and your dependent children. Please contact us for the prices for older travellers coming to New Zealand.
Who is covered under the individual and family plans?
Individual: One adult and accompanying dependents under 19 years of age.
Family: Two adults (who are married or in a de facto relationship) and accompanying dependents under 19 years of age.
Options
Individual high value items
High value items can always be added to both plans by paying an additional premium on the item at a rate of 2%. Example: A NZ$5,000 item x .020 = NZ$100 premium. (The maximum amount of cover is NZ$10,000 per item.)

Things to note
The plan excludes property, but you can…
include baggage and personal effects cover up to a value of NZ$1,000 per item (to a maximum total amount of NZ$5,000) by adding 15% to the premium.
High value items can be added to the plan…

Manual work cover for general farming (excluding any activity relating to forestry), building and related trades.
Add 20% of the individual Lite premium to the cover option. Example: If you have taken the 12 months Individual Prime plan ($824) add 20% of the Individual Lite plan ($112) = NZ$936 in total.
